WESTCASTLE SKI CLUB
Fall 2009
Hi Folks,
Wow, from warm to cold - winter is here. COP opens this weekend
for skiing. It is hard to
believe that the 2009/10 season is upon us. FIS, K1 & K2
athletes need to be registered by Oct 15th. The 2009/10
registration forms are available from the registration page.
Nancy Greene, Banditos, & Freeride registration deadline is
December 1st.
Keep thinking snow! Some
of our athletes have spent time
in Oregon and are hoping to be in Colorado by late October. Three of
the coaches made a run down Huckleberry on October 4th. Time to
keep doing the snow dance.
We've had good success recruiting for next
year's coaches as well. Most of our Nancy Greene coaches are
returning and all of our race coaches are ex-Castle Mountain racers.
We now have a new program called Banditos - this expands on and
builds on the old J4 program for 9 & 10 year olds. For more
info see the registration page. A huge thank

We have a couple of suppliers that we look to for club suits.

The Nancy Greene Program registration can begin anytime and ends in
December.
FUNDRAISING – ASK YOUR BOSS
Raffle Tickets and Empty Bottle Collection are two ongoing
fundraisers. In the past, we have been
very fortunate to receive Corporate donations as well.
Will your employer donate money to Future Ski
Olympians? Please make inquiries.
FREERIDE
We have an awesome Freeride Program for kids aged 11 and older.
Any brave kids
interested in this Big-Mountain, Ski-Crazy, Fast & Furious,
Cliff-Hucking
